Introductory Heat Pump Installation Training for Contractors
Local contractors recently joined together in April 2026 for a highly successful, hands-on training focused on installing high-efficiency heat pumps—systems that can be up to four times more efficient than electric baseboard heat. The session provided valuable insight into how contractors can expand their skillsets while helping homeowners and businesses reduce energy use and lower utility costs.
The training included two hours of classroom instruction, followed by a short break and two hours of hands-on experience inside a Mobile Heat Pump Lab, where participants worked directly with equipment and learned key installation fundamentals.
