Introductory Heat Pump Installation Training for Contractors

Contractors are invited to join a hands-on, in-person training to learn the basics of installing high-efficiency heat pumps—systems that can be up to four times more efficient than electric baseboard heat. By expanding your skills in heat pump technology, you can help homeowners and businesses in our community lower energy bills and reduce energy use.
This training will include two hours of classroom instruction, followed by a short break and two hours of hands-on training inside a Mobile Heat Pump Lab, where participants will work directly with equipment and learn installation fundamentals.
The event is offered in partnership with Blue Sky Training, Mountain Parks Electric, and Xcel Energy. No prior experience with heat pumps is required.

Free for contractors, $100 deposit required to enroll (refunded after completing the training).
