Sustainable Grand is a growing non-profit dedicated to fostering a more environmentally conscious community in Grand County.

Our current focus is on energy—working to enhance energy efficiency in homes and businesses, promote the use of electric vehicles and outdoor equipment, and transition our community to clean, renewable energy sources.

Workforce Development Project

Your donation helps us develop a workforce in Grand County who are trained, equipped and motivated to perform energy efficient upgrades and new installations in homes & businesses, keeping dollars in the local economy.

Expanding Access to Energy Assessments

Your gift helps cover income verification, customer scheduling, and informational support,  ensuring that every Grand County resident has access to home and business energy assessments, regardless of income.

Maintaining Our Energy Smart Colorado Partnership

We contribute annual dues to remain a partner in Energy Smart Colorado, giving us access to over $100,000 in Grand Energy Saver funding each year and powerful tools like Salesforce CRM to track impact.

Supporting Essential Equipment

Donations help maintain, repair, and replace key energy assessment tools — including blower doors, thermal cameras, and efficiency testing equipment that identify real opportunities for savings.

Strengthening Our Digital Tools

We maintain and enhance online resources like our Energy One Stop Shop, rebate calculator, local contractor directory, and advocacy tools that make energy-saving projects easier for everyone.

Providing Energy Coaching & Education

Your support funds one-on-one coaching sessions that help residents implement improvements — from understanding rebates and finding local contractors to learning cost-effective DIY solutions.

Growing Awareness & Participation

We invest in marketing and outreach that inspire more Grand County residents and businesses to take action toward sustainability and energy efficiency.

Tracking Progress & Measuring Results
