United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) & Energy Smart Colorado

With the help of a USDA grant and our partners at Energy Smart Colorado, Grand County small businesses may receive an instant rebate of 75% off the cost of a professional energy assessment.

After the assessment, businesses can claim a $250 Mountain Parks Electric Bill Credit claim it here.

ENERGY-SAVING IMPROVEMENT REBATES:

USDA Rural Energy for America Program

The US Department of Agriculture's Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) provides grants and financing for your energy upgrades:

• Grants for up to 50% of eligible energy efficiency project costs (between $2,500 and $500,000).

• Grants for renewable energy systems (up to $1m). 

• Loans for up to 75% of eligible costs.

The USDA will begin accepting applications again for REAP on October 1, 2025.
